His work has been exhibited across Italy and Europe—including Paris, London, Stockholm, Madrid, and Vienna—as well as in New York and Asia.

A close friend of Martha Argerich, who recognized his exceptional talent early on, Nelson Goerner has earned his place among the great masters of the piano, with both his artistry and teaching skills being widely acknowledged.

Since his breakthrough at the Geneva Competition in 1990, the Argentine pianist has confirmed his status as one of the most captivating performers of his generation. A renowned specialist in the works of Chopin, Debussy, and Schumann, Goerner is one of those towering artists who naturally absorb the highest ideals of the composers, able to translate the inexpressible and slip into the spaces between the notes. With impeccable technique, humility, and an insightful artistic vision, his intelligence of the repertoire shines through.

His generosity of tone, depth of interpretation, and effortless virtuosity make him one of the most admired pianists among his peers – chamber musicians, conductors, and orchestras – as well as on the world’s most prestigious concert stages.
