Every first Friday of the month, the restaurant La Table des Oliviers in Grimaud offers a themed evening.
On Friday, January 5th, ‘Vive l’Empereur‘ evening will feature Corsican cuisine and Napoleon Bonaparte’s favorite dishes in an Empire ambiance.

Saturday, January 6: Farmer’s Market at Ranch de la Mène
Discover producers, craftsmen, and creators from Var right within the educational farm of the Ranch.
Enjoy horse and pony rides and explore the mini-farm as well. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
January 8th: New Year’s Wishes from the Mayor of Grimaud
Alain Benedetto, Mayor of the municipality of Grimaud, accompanied by his municipal council, will convey his wishes to the people of Grimaud for the year 2024.
After reviewing the past year and announcing new projects, this ceremony will be followed by a cocktail where Mayor Benedetto and his team will be delighted to meet with you. At the Blaquières Complex at 6:30 PM.
Tuesday, January 16th: Galette de Grimaud Europe
The members of Grimaud Europe, hailing from England, Italy, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and all captivated by the charm of Grimaud, invite you to savor the renowned King’s Cake.
This event also provides an opportunity to introduce their generous monthly cycle of conferences. The conferences, led by experts, cover diverse topics such as heritage, psychology, and culture.

Friday, January 19th: Nights of Reading
The 8th Nights of Reading, organized for the third consecutive year by the National Center for the Book at the suggestion of the Ministry of Culture, will take place from January 18 to 21, 2024.
Theme for 2024: The Body.
On January 19th: Readings aloud with the « Little Reading Champions. »
As part of the national event « Nights of Reading, » we will introduce you to the 16 students in CM2 (fifth grade) from the two school groups in the town who are preparing for the reading aloud championship. In turn, they will read an excerpt from their books for 3 minutes aloud on stage in front of the jury and the audience. At the end of this reading evening, only two children will be chosen to represent the town in the departmental final, which will take place in March. Come support them and also propose your reading aloud on Friday, January 19th, at 6:30 PM in the Beausoleil hall!
