Thursday, September 5th: Gallery Night, Art Sunset

As part of the « Art Sunset » event, Grimaud’s art galleries—Galerie A, Studio Paon, and Maison des Arcades from the Culture and Heritage Department (Maison des Arcades du Service Culture et Patrimoine)—invite the public to enjoy a special, friendly evening exploring their exhibitions.

Join us on September 5th at Galerie A from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Admission is free.

The Les Peintres de Grimaud association is delighted to invite you to the 19th Grimaud Salon, where you can discover the works of 30 painters and sculptors.
Held at Salle Beausoleil, free admission.

Saturday, September 7th, it’s Sports Day!

The Sports Day has become a much-anticipated annual event.

The goal is to bring together the various sports associations of the community for half a day, allowing residents to ask questions about their activities and registration processes. Both children and adults can try out around twenty different sports, including mountain biking, soccer, rugby, handball, pony riding, basketball, judo, karate, aikido, Wu Shu, bowling, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, and fitness.

There will also be games and activities for kids on-site.
Free participation at the Blaquières Sports Complex.

Friday, September 13th, Jazz Night featuring the François Corbi Sextet

The François Corbi Sextet will take you into their jazz universe, transporting you back to the 1920s, when jazz first gained popularity and echoed through the streets of Chicago and New York. You’ll also embark on a journey through time, paying tribute to the jazz legends.

On-site dining available.
In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Salle Arthur Bauchet in the Blaquières Sports Complex.

Saturday, September 14th, Storytime

Children’s storytime for ages 2 and up at 10:30 AM.

Join us at the Médiathèque every second Saturday of the month for a special story reading and performance by Isabelle, introducing young children to the world of stories.

Please note: The library is temporarily located at Rue du Pré de Foire.
Spaces are limited to 20 people. Reservation is required at 04 94 43 29 02.

Thursday, September 19th, les Inattendues (the Unexpected) des Grimaldines

Returning in 2024, the 2nd edition of Les Inattendues, part of the Grimaldines Festival of World Music & Street Arts, invites you to enjoy world music concerts in unusual venues.

On September 19th: Gypsy Night with « Gypsie United » at the Boulodrome du Pont des Fées.

Bar and dining available on-site. Free entry and open access.

Sunday, September 22nd, Mobility Weekend

As part of the Mobility Weekend organized by the Golfe de Saint-Tropez Community of Municipalities, take advantage of the opportunity to explore Grimaud by bike!

Here’s the plan:

  • 9:00 AM: Meet at Moulin Saint-Roch in Grimaud + enjoy a complimentary coffee and bike welcome from Grimaud Animations.
  • 9:45 AM: Tour of the village.
  • 11:15 AM: Return to Moulin Saint-Roch + visit + aperitif provided by the municipality and Grimaud Animations.
  • Elevation Gain: +60 m (counterclockwise)
  • Ride Duration: 1h20
  • Distance: 11.2 km
  • Total Duration with Visits and Stops: 3 hours
  • Bike Types: MTB, hybrid, gravel, e-bike

For European Heritage Days, explore our art, culture, and heritage sites open from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM:

On September 21st and 22nd, the « Je fais ma part » association is celebrating the end of summer and the start of the new season with an event dedicated to love and happiness. It’s also a special occasion as the association marks its 10th anniversary.

Join us for a weekend of numerous activities and entertainment for all ages at the beautiful Oasis Esperanza grounds in the Grimaud plain. This year-round community space is dedicated to fostering transmission, sharing, friendship, and the hope for a better world. Here, a nourishing forest and communal garden are cultivated, providing a peaceful retreat to reconnect with nature and the living world.

On-site: activities, workshops, stalls, music, badminton, yoga, sound journeys, lectures, garden tours, performances, pétanque, Qi Gong, and a refreshment stand.

Directions: After passing the sign for the canine club parking lot, take the dirt path. The garden is located 50 meters to your right at the slight bend.

Immerse yourself in the story of Ottavia Selvaggio, a young woman determined to become a top chef.

Sunday, September 29th, Saint-Michel Festival

The Saint-Michel Festival dates back to the Middle Ages and marked the end of rural leases, giving rise to the saying « at Saint-Michel, everyone moves out. »

Alongside the Wool Fair, Saint-Jean Fires, and Village Festival, it remains a cornerstone of Grimaud’s traditions, a timeless highlight of the local heritage.

To honor this historic celebration, a garage sale and artisanal market will be held across Grimaud’s three main squares. The religious tradition is preserved with a Provençal mass followed by a procession to honor the city’s patron saint.

Throughout the day, enjoy various festivities to the sounds of fifes, galoubets, and tambourines.
