“Do You Saint-Tropez” Festival
This year, during the « Fête de la musique » (music festivals celebrated everywhere in France) », two of the most popular evenings of the famous village will be held on the days of June 21st and 22nd. Coming from varied musical horizons, artists will offer you breathtaking performances. The 2017 program, is not yet known but we’ll publish it here as soon as it is revealed.
Here is an overview of this festivial’s origins. Since a team of eleven Tropézians spawned the association CAP (Circle for the Future of the Presqu’île) of Saint-Tropez, its members have been working hard to “create events and bring our village to life.” Relying on strong networks, their success is growing. These two festive evenings, will take place at the Place du 15ème Corps in the heart of the city.
Evenings of the Citadel Festival
For their 3rd edition, the evenings will take place from Thursday the 27th to Saturday the 30th in July of 2017 in Saint-Tropez. The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region will shine again with what has established its reputation: a poetic setting with historic decor. This year, it is in the 17th-century fort, on the very site of the fortresses that defended the village in the Middle Ages, that the festivities will take place. It is in an exceptional landscape, overlooking the most legendary village of the Côte d’Azur, that the Citadel of Saint-Tropez invites you! The program aims to touch on French and international culture, with three artists exhibiting various musical colors following one another. From rock to rap, the artists presented to you will be: Benjamin Biolay on Thursday 27th, Iam on Friday 28th, and Sting, who will end the festival on Saturday, July 29th, 2017.
